Project description:
Sponsored by the Nexans Foundation since 2014, the "Graines d'Espérance" (seeds of hope) project aims to improve employability and promote the socio-professional integration of young people in promising sectors. The objective is to modernize the supply of training in the electricity trades and adapt it to the needs of companies.
Launched in Lebanon in 2007, the project was spun off in Morocco in 2014 and Ivory Coast in 2016.
The IECD relies on existing training centers and aims to improve their offer in the electricity field. The project aims at recreating the link with companies to meet their needs, allow the young people to fit socially and professionally, and make them actors in the development of their country.
About the Partner Association:
IECD place the question of youth employment at the core of its activities by putting in place training and professional integration projects, which aim to strengthen the employment of the youth in developing and transitioning countries.
